On Friday we had the end of year picnic for our International students and their host families. It was a bit of a windy start, but the weather improved to a great Christchurch spring evening. Thanks to all the students for bringing a plate of food from their own culture - the food was amazing! Mexican, Korean, Chilean, Japanese, Malaysian, Brazilian, German and of course good old Kiwi! Thank you to all the hosts that attended - we really enjoyed catching up with you all.

It is wonderful to announce that two of our International Leaders from 2012 have been awarded scholarships to study at Canterbury University in 2013.  They are pictured here being congratulated by Mr Maguire.

Congratulations Reeko for being presented with a "Principal's Distinction Award" for Rugby 2012.  Reeko was unable to go to the Awards Ceremony so Mr Seque surprised her in class to present her with her certificate.

Welcome to our new students for Term 3.  We had a great few days of Orientation and the students have now been in their new classes for 2 days. A big thank you to the buddies for doing such a great job looking after our international students.

This term we had a visit from Burnside High School "Agent of the Year" NZ Study owners Jan and Sam. It is wonderful that they have taken the time to come and visit their students in NZ and Christchurch.
