The Junior Intensive class very much enjoyed their fishing trip
to The Groynes on Tuesday. The focus was on learning about
recreational opportunities in NZ.
Danny Huang, Yr 9, was elated to catch the first fish of the day,
a salmon, which he and his family enjoyed later for dinner. Four
salmon were caught and thanks are extended to Emily from Fish and
Game who facilitated the expedition, and the two Honorary wardens
who gave of their time to teach the students how to fish.
Our thanks too, to the three French students, here on
internships with Fish and Game, who also assisted the
students.
