The Year 13 Geography students have just had three days in the field at Kaikoura. Students focus on learning about the elements, natural processes and landform features that have been produced in this dynamic coastal environment.
Activities have included the Kaikoura peninsula walk, longshore drift and beach studies, data collection using a range of specialist field equipment, field observations and collecting photographic evidence.
Students have worked both collaboratively and individually to carry out the research process and related assignment work. Thanks to the whole team for making this such a rewarding experience.
