Year 12 Geography Aoraki Mt. Cook Trip
The Year 12 Geography students experienced a three day field trip to Aoraki Mt. Cook. Students learned about the interacting natural processes that have produced the unique characteristics of this landscape. We also investigated the human impacts that have occurred in this environment. Highlights of the trip included: The Glacier Explorer tour, Hermitage visit, Hooker Valley walk, Governors bush walk, Meridian energy hydro-power, Sustainable management of Mt. Cook village and Glentanner Station.
