15 May - Year 9 and 10 Maori Student Activity Afternoon and Whanau Meeting - thank you to all those who attended and contributed.

1 - 5 July - Maori Language Week - activities each lunch time Monday to Thursday.

Friday 5 July Manu Korero at Aranui High School. The Kapa Haka group will travel to Aranui to support our speakers.

TERM 3

5 August - Powhiri to welcome in the Education Review Office - Weekly tertiary experiences for Seniors at University of Canterbury

September - Year 9 Activities Day - Whakapapa and Carving - Year 10  Judge Beecroft Workshop - Whanau Meeting

TERM 4

24 October - Regional Kapa Haka competition at Aurora Centre - Burnside High School hosting

5 November - Parihaka - possible visit to Rapaki Marae

3 December - Junior Maori Awards ceremony and Poroporoake for Graduating Year 13 Maori students - hangi meal for students and whanau.
