Sirents CallWaiting for the Sirens’ Call

The Waiting for the Sirens’ Call writing competition had its first year in 2013 and called for students to write a short story or poem of up to 300 words, as well as create a cover design for the zine publication which contains all of the winning entries.

Students contributed many excellent stories, poems and cover designs, making the judging process very difficult

Free copies of the zine publication with all of the winning entries are available from the school library and will be distributed around numerous cafes and venues around Ōtautahi over the school holidays.
