Ryan Yardley competed in the 2013/14 New Zealand Formula
Ford championship, finishing 4th in his rookie season, and was
the only school boy competing in a field of up to 23 in each of
the 6 rounds throughout New Zealand.
He has since been chosen alongside 7 other drivers from around the country to attend the 2014 Elite Motorsport Academy to be held in Dunedin this week.
The Elite Motorsport Academy was established in 2004 and developed in conjunction with excellence in Sport South Island to provide Motor Sport NZ licensed race and rally competitors a one week intensive programme of physical and academy training, including safety and nutrition. Those selected have already demonstrated the ability to excel in their chosen motor sport discipline.
