Golden Key Canterbury, an Honours Society at the University of Canterbury, is holding a Youth Seminar open mainly to Year 12 and 13 students (though Year 11 students are also welcome) on Saturday 12 July and would like to invite any students who may be interested to register - there is no charge to attend.

The theme of the seminar is 'On the Edge', with the aim of encouraging participants to push themselves to the edge of their comfort zones and make a difference in their schools and communities. With talks from Jade Leung (CEO of the P3 Foundation), Jules Scott-Hansen (President of Engineers Without Borders at UC), Angela Smith (Emerging Leaders Development Programme) and the Student Volunteer Army, this will be an exciting and motivational day for those involved. Leadership workshops, talks on preparing for university and networking opportunities are other highlights of the day.

The event will be held at the Undercroft (Ground Floor of the James Hight Building, University of Canterbury) and registrations are currently open. Participants are encouraged to register via the Facebook event https://www.facebook.com/events/1461357774111798/ or in person from 9.45am on the day.
