The Girls' 10s rugby team had a convincing win 65-48 over Lincoln yesterday in the final.
Outstanding performances by Terina Wanoa and Nia Toliver paved the way to victory, but all of the match-day squad played their part in sealing the win, the second in two years for the Burnside High School girls. Zahra Shahtahmasebi was again a hard-working captain and Mayu Shimizu a thorn in the Lincoln side with her ability to slip tackles.
The younger girls all contributed well, making the 2015 girls' rugby season something to look forward to. Congratulations!
