In 2009 the Foreign Ministry of the Federal Republic of Germany launched a world-wide programme PASCH-Schulen (Partner School Project) to promote and support the teaching of German at schools of excellence throughout the world.
Burnside High School is one of the 4 schools in New Zealand to be part of this programme.
The Goethe-Institut offers scholarships to the school’s best students of German to attend language courses in Germany. We congratulate the two students from Year 12 German who have been selected to attend a 3-week German language course in Frankfurt in January 2015:
Kirsten Warnock 12 WTAW, Carrie Coster 12 SGLJ
Herzlichen Glückwunsch Carrie und Kirsten und viel Spaβ!
