We wish Clize Craven 13TKB and Angela Seo 13RDM  the best of luck as they head off to CPIT tomorrow to compete against local and visiting Australian schools. Regional winners will go to Auckland in August to compete at the national competition. 

Our team of two will prepare, cook and present, four individually plated  portions of an entrée and four portions of a main course within 90 minutes. The entrée portions must contain fresh New Zealand grown beetroot as the principal component of the dish. The main course portions must include at least three fresh New Zealand grown vegetables, one of which must be a potato. The protein component is to be from a chicken breast.

Beetroot Entree
Golden beetroot fritter with baby chioggia and red saute, beetroot chips and goats cheese foam with beetroot butter sauce.
Chicken Main
Chicken breast filled with semidried tomato and preserved lemon on a crumbed parmesan potato cake with char-­roasted seasonal vegetables accompanied by a tomato butter sauce.

Culinary Competition
