40 HOUR FAMINE WEEK
by Bernadette Shaw - Monday, 13 June 2016, 8:20 AM

This week is Burnside High School's 40 Hour Famine Week and your 2016 leaders have organised a fantastic programme of events for you to get involved in - all to raise money for children affected by the refugee crisis in Syria.

WEDNESDAY at 5:30pm in the Aurora Centre we're screening the Disney classic 'The Lion King'. Tickets are only $6 and are available at the Student Office.

FRIDAY lunchtime we're putting a BHS spin on the dating show 'Take Me Out'. Come along to see Jack Ansett guide a group of seniors on a quest for true love. Tickets on sale in the quad Wednesday and Thursday lunchtime.

SATURDAY is our Clothes Swap - a chance to update your wardrobe by perusing our giant opshop: donating your old clothes and finding something new!

THIS WEEKEND  sign up to do the 40 Hour Famine and live out of a backpack for 40 Hours! Sign up in the quad during lunchtime all this week and help change the world.
