The Year 13 Geography students had a fantastic time collecting primary data in the field as part of their research assessment on sustainable tourism in Kaikoura. Highlights of the trip included.........Hapuku tree lodges, Ohau Stream baby seals, Kaikoura Peninsula Walk, Whale Watch, Interviewing tourists and locals, The Kaikoura Landfill and Recycling Centre and a talk by Rachel Vaughn; a Planner at the Kaikoura District Council. For the first time ever we stayed at the Canterbury Underwater Club lodge.......this proved to be a very comfortable base.
It was a pleasure to work with such a great bunch of students and staff!!
