On Monday 13th of June, 3 members of the Burnside High School Ice Hockey team will be flying to America to compete with the Canterbury Kiwis in an International Ice Hockey Tournament. The tournament has been running bi-annually for many years and allows Ice Hockey players from all over the world aged 12 - 14 to meet and play hockey for two weeks. All the players are billeted with local families and are expected to be ambassadors for their countries. This year the team is Coached by our High School coach, Mike Johnson. Good luck to the whole team and especially our representatives from Burnside - Taylor Johnson, Rom van Stolk and Eliot Austin. Play hard and play well!
